Job Title: Generator Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Generator Technician to join our team at Detail 2 Recruitment Ltd. As a Generator Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing generators, as well as providing an onsite service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair generators, varying from 20KVA to 1250KVA
  • Provide an onsite service to customers
  • Find and capture machine damage
  • Keep accurate and comprehensive service and maintenance records
  • Communicate effectively with line managers and customers
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as C# and Java
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles and practices
  • Experience with techniques and equipment, such as generator repair and maintenance
  • Knowledge of principles and methodologies related to generator installation and maintenance
  • Familiarity with system integration and excellent problem-solving skills

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as C# and Java
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles and practices
  • Experience with techniques and equipment, such as generator repair and maintenance
  • Knowledge of principles and methodologies related to generator installation and maintenance
  • Familiarity with system integration and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues
  • Flexible and self-motivated, with a keenness to embrace new training opportunities
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Customer-Focused with a commitment to delivering an excellent service
  • Effective planning and organisation skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A valid driving licence with no more than 6 points
