Job Title: Project Director

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to manage the planning and implementation of capital and revenue projects. This role will cover the installation, commissioning, and validation of process and packaging equipment, facility upgrades, utilities, and infrastructure upgrades.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Engineering Capital Investment Projects to Time, Cost, and Quality Expectations.
  • Control all aspects of project activity, including engineering, design, program, safety management, procurement, commissioning, and validation.
  • Prepare Capital Expenditure justification packages.
  • Manage Capital budget.
  • Maintain awareness of technological and regulatory standards.
  • Formulate creative technical solutions.
  • Negotiate with Suppliers and Contractors.

Requirements:

  • Engineering background with Pharmaceutical or FMCG experience desired.
  • Engineering Qualification, Degree level, BTEC HNC or ONC.
  • Experienced in managing internal and external resources to ensure project activities are completed on time, to budget, and the required specification.
  • Working knowledge of GMP requirements for facilities and equipment desired.
  • Manage external contractors while adhering to safe working practice and specific HSE requirements.
  • Demonstratable management experience of multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to Identify and manage project blockers before a critical path is affected.
  • Can plan engineering works to minimize impact on production operations.
  • Adaptable and flexible to changes required from the business.
