About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Furniture Manufacturing Estimator to join our team at K and D Recruitment. As an experienced professional in the field, you will be responsible for creating accurate cost estimations and developing detailed quotes for clients.

Responsibilities:
• Design & Planning: Create custom designs using CAD software to meet customer requirements.
• CNC Programming: Use AlphaCAM to program CNC machines, specifying cuts for materials.
• Material Sourcing: Source high-quality fixtures and fittings for furniture assembly.
• 3D Rendering & Space Planning: Create 3D renders and manage space planning requirements.
• Estimating & Quoting: Develop accurate estimates and prepare detailed quotes for clients.
• Site Visits: Conduct site visits for templating and project assessment; gather precise project information directly from clients.

Requirements:
• SolidWorks proficiency
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and costing
• Industry experience in furniture manufacturing
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive with a problem-solving approach
• Valid driving license for client site visits

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 per year. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm.
