Asphalt Plant Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team at FM Conway's Theale Asphalt Plant. As a key member of our Aggregate and Asphalt division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality materials for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain asphalt plant equipment to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Load and unload materials from vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient handling practices.
- Monitor and control plant operations, including temperature, pressure, and flow rates, to optimize production and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals, maintain a safe working environment, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and repairing equipment, to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Proven experience in asphalt plant operations, with a strong understanding of plant equipment and processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid UK driving license and ability to operate heavy machinery.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with plant control systems.
