As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable business relationships with partners, promoting Pharmaron as the CDMO of choice to prospective clients, and enhancing ongoing business relationships.

  • You will identify and lead the cultivation of product development opportunities, integrated API/product opportunities, by building client confidence in Pharmaron's capabilities and services.
  • You will partner with site operations and project management teams to facilitate timely generation and delivery of accurate project proposals.
  • You will liaise with peer business development personnel to effectively coordinate and manage integrated services opportunities.
  • You will maintain a strong working knowledge/experience of OSD product development requirements and Pharmaron's global capabilities in this area.
  • You will identify and access sources of information that provide excellent market intelligence of developments within the pharmaceutical industry and share that information internally to help identify new business opportunities.
  • You will actively contribute and influence the development of a compelling value proposition that attracts clients to engage Pharmaron.
  • You will actively and professionally promote the company, positioning it as a reputable partner to deliver high-quality solutions for the client and convert enquiries of interest into profitable contracts of work.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, or a related Life Science from a reputable university, multi-year experience in a business development role within the Drug Product Development sector, technical creditability with Drug Product Development - Oral Solid Dose (OSD), and previous experience in a scientific role in a life science organization.

We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and 25 days' annual leave.
