Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at a Primary School in Tamworth. As a key member of the education team, you will play a vital role in supporting students in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Assist with planning and preparing classroom and learning resources, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Support students with intervention on a 1:1 and small group basis, providing tailored guidance and support to meet their individual needs.
- Monitor and track student progress and behaviour, using data to inform teaching practices and improve outcomes.
Requirements
- Previous experience working within an educational setting, with a proven track record of supporting students and contributing to a positive learning environment.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one), ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to learn and grow in the role.
