We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Principal/Associate Ecologist to lead our ecological consultancy in the UK. Our team has established itself as a large and respected player in the field, delivering high-quality commercial projects across the country.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading other team members, planning and resourcing surveys, producing full reports, and liaising with clients on larger projects. With our growing portfolio, we need someone who can support business development and mentor junior staff on all aspects of the role.

The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. They will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality consultancy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead ecological surveys and manage project teams
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Support business development and mentor junior staff
