Job Title: Retail & Fashion / Merchandising Merchandising Admin Assistant – High end interiors

As a key member of the Merchandising team at Success Talent, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning and execution of stock intake and sales strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the team in buying the right stock at the right time and price, ensuring that the business remains competitive in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with stock intake and ensure all related documents are accurate and complete, tracking products through the critical path management process.
  • Monitor stock levels and report real and potential requirements to relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective inventory management.
  • Place orders and communicate with suppliers, updating systems with delivery dates and relevant supplier information.
  • Chase suppliers and service providers to ensure stock is received as scheduled and all critical deadlines are met.
  • Manage supplier relationships, costings, and pricing to optimize business outcomes.
  • Produce weekly reports highlighting potential missed sales orders, delays, duplicates, and other critical issues.
  • Monitor the critical path to ensure all intake dates are met, ensuring seamless inventory management.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as required by the Management team, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude, able to provide prompt, efficient, and personalized service to internal and external customers. You will be responsible for building and maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring that departmental policies are followed, and that the business operates in a fair and transparent manner.
