Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Proseal business as a Senior Electrical Design & Compliance Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining electrical schematic diagrams for packaging machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical schematic diagrams for packaging machinery
  • Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and standards
  • Sourcing electrical components to meet custom project requirements
  • Developing supporting documentation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience as an electrical design engineer, preferably in the food industry
  • Proficient user of Electrical CAD software, EPLAN ideally
  • Familiarity with PLCs, servo drive systems, AC Inverters, and Mitsubishi control gear
  • Experience with CE marking, Machinery, Low Voltage, and EMC Directives
  • Familiarity with UL, CSA, and NFPA electrical regulations
