We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Town Planner to join our team in Aberdeen. As a key member of our planning consultancy, you will be responsible for delivering complex planning projects, managing applications, and providing strategic advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals for a diverse range of projects
- Advise clients on planning strategies and navigate local planning policies
- Lead consultations with local authorities and key stakeholders
- Mentor and support junior staff members
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development
- Chartered membership of the RTPI (or close to obtaining chartership)
- Extensive knowledge of Scottish planning policies and procedures
- Proven experience in a town planning role, preferably within a consultancy or local authority
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and work to tight deadlines
