Senior Town Planner Opportunity in Aberdeen

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Town Planner to join our team in Aberdeen. As a key member of our planning consultancy, you will be responsible for delivering complex planning projects, managing applications, and providing strategic advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals for a diverse range of projects
  2. Advise clients on planning strategies and navigate local planning policies
  3. Lead consultations with local authorities and key stakeholders
  4. Mentor and support junior staff members
  5. Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development
Requirements
  1. Chartered membership of the RTPI (or close to obtaining chartership)
  2. Extensive knowledge of Scottish planning policies and procedures
  3. Proven experience in a town planning role, preferably within a consultancy or local authority
  4. Strong communication and project management skills
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and work to tight deadlines
