Security Operations Analyst Role

The Talent organization is seeking a skilled Security Operations Analyst to join our team. As a Security Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in the control and monitoring of our Digital Services security services and underlying technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Response and Handling: Respond to and manage security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Threat Intelligence and Analytics: Analyze and interpret threat intelligence to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Security Tooling and Technologies: Utilize security tooling and technologies to monitor and analyze security events.
  • Network and System Security: Ensure the security and integrity of our network and system infrastructure.
  • Security Best Practices: Implement and maintain security best practices to minimize the risk of security breaches.
  • Vulnerability Management: Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in our systems and applications.

Desirable Skills:

  • Penetration Testing: Conduct penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in our systems and applications.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Azure Security: Utilize Azure security features, including Azure Defender and Azure Purview.
  • Tenable Security: Utilize Tenable security tooling, including Nessus.
  • Microsoft Sentinel: Utilize Microsoft Sentinel for security information and event management.
  • MS Azure PIM: Utilize Azure Privileged Identity Management to manage privileged identities.

Requirements:

  • UK Security Vetting: Must have had uninterrupted UK residence for the past 5 years to undergo UK security vetting.
