Overview

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Lead to join the EU Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Communications Team. The team supports hundreds of DSPs who engage thousands of drivers to deliver millions of packages per week through our Last Mile delivery network.

About the Role

The ideal candidate must be a strong communicator with strategic communications, business acumen, and excellent writing ability. Exercising extremely high judgment in narrow timeframes, particularly by injecting logic and care into strategic communications targeted at DSPs, is critical.

You will Insist on the Highest Standards regarding DSP-facing communications and content. You will be a thought leader who indexes high on emotional intelligence. You will bring in fresh ideas to simplify and scale our communications processes.

This role is a unique hybrid of B2B Comms and Internal Comms.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Strategy Development
  • Develop a multi-channel content strategy for new program, technology and product launches, including written communications, executive messaging, infographics, and video scripts.
Messaging Simplification
  • Translate complex messaging into simple and easy-to-understand content.
Communications Effectiveness Monitoring
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive successful campaigns across multiple timezones and languages.

About the Team

The EUK DSP Communications Team is made up of 10 high-performing Communicators. They build a safety-first culture, develop their team, and deliver in their communities.

Requirements

  1. Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
Data Analysis and Visualization
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
Cross-Functional Campaign Execution
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
Campaigns Across Timezones and Languages
  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
