We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Autumn Term Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing access to education for students who are out of education or not currently attending a school.
Job Summary:As an Autumn Term Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering KS1-KS4 level work in the core subjects of Maths and English to primary and secondary age students with some form of additional needs. You will work with students who have SEMH, ASD, ADHD, global delay, medical conditions, emotional difficulties, or trauma, including Looked After Children (LAC).
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver Maths and English lessons to students in a local library, family home, foster home, or residential children's home
- Provide individualized support to students with varying levels of need
- Work with students to develop their Maths and English skills, focusing on KS1-KS4 level work
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support
- Relevant qualifications and training for this role
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Child protection and prevent duty training
- Competitive hourly rate of £25-£30
- Flexible working hours, with the most common referral being 10 hours per week (broken down into 2 hours per day, 5 days a week, term time only)
