Job Title: Commercial Financial Controller

Salary: £58,000 per annum + benefits.

As a Senior Plant Controller, you will play a critical role in the success of our client's manufacturing operation in Staffordshire. You will be responsible for leading the financial control function, providing strategic financial guidance to the operations team, and driving business improvement initiatives.

About the Role:
The Senior Plant Controller will work closely with the plant leadership team to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability. They will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Assistant Plant Controller and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

Key Responsibilities:
* Review trends and challenge current performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
* Ensure that plant is compliant with internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations.
* Prepare and submit for review key balance sheet reconciliations.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience of working within a manufacturing environment. They will also have excellent leadership and analytical skills, with the ability to present clear and concise financial information to stakeholders.
