Estate Garden Management Opportunity

We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Countryside Horticulturist to join our team as an Under Gardener. This live-in position provides a chance to work closely with the Head Gardener to maintain and enhance the estate's stunning grounds, including herbaceous and shrub borders, seasonal bedding, container plants, and lawn care.

Your Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Working as part of a small team under the guidance of the Head Gardener">
• Conducting regular care and maintenance of the gardens">
• Undertaking greenhouse duties and kitchen garden maintenance">
• Assisting with overall landscape care and using various gardening tools and machinery">
• Participating in general garden upkeep to ensure the estate gardens remain visually appealing and healthy">

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have:

• Proven gardening experience, ideally in an estate or private garden environment">
• Proficiency in using garden machinery and tools">
• Strong horticultural knowledge across a range of plant care, garden maintenance, and landscape management practices">
• Physical fitness, with the stamina to perform various gardening tasks effectively">
• Ability to work on-site every other weekend">
