Key Stage 2 Teacher Required

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teacher to join our team at a school based in Leicester. This is a full-time role starting in January, with excellent access to public transport.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about making learning fun and engaging for their students. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing lessons in line with the curriculum
- Adapting teaching methods to cater to students' varying needs
- Working effectively with teaching assistants where necessary
- Assigning and explaining homework exercises that expand topic knowledge
- Marking and providing clear feedback on completed work
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will ensure the safety and safeguarding of children. Essential qualifications include a degree and relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE), with QTS desirable but not required. Experience in teaching Key Stage 2 is essential, as is a strong commitment to the role and objectives.
Our client is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils, and all applicants must share this commitment. The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
