We are currently seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join our Wayman Learning Trust school community in Barnet North London. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with young children and making a positive impact on their educational journey.

Nursery Teacher Role

We are looking for a qualified teacher who can plan and deliver engaging lessons, supporting students' social and emotional development and fostering a love for learning. As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Nursery curriculum
  • Fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development
  • Providing individualised support to students based on their unique needs and abilities
  • Collaborating with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Assessing and monitoring students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behaviour
  • Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a strong partnership between home and school

Nursery Teacher Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • QTS, EYTS, and PGCE qualifications, with a strong academic record
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education, with a focus on the Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery) or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Nursery curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • The ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students
