Job Details

We are seeking a skilled clinician to join our team as a Clinical Teaching Fellow in Otorhinolaryngology. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver high-quality clinical teaching and tutorials to medical students at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

About the Role

The post holder will be responsible for the development and delivery of a comprehensive teaching programme, including induction, tutorials, and practical skills sessions for medical students. They will work closely with clinical staff, administrative staff, academic staff, and clinical directors to deliver high-quality teaching and support the development of our undergraduate medical course.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive teaching programme for medical students
  • Organise and conduct formative assessments and contribute questions for online summative assessment
  • Provide intensive coaching for ENT re-sit students and maintain key working relationships with clinical staff and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other Clinical Teaching Fellows to support the Year 1 & 2 Early Clinical Experience Course and other teaching activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GMC full registration, MBBS or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 months' experience in ENT and 2 years of NHS clinical experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong passion for medical education and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
