About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Advisor to join our team at Twining Enterprise, a dynamic mental health charity dedicated to supporting Londoners facing mental health challenges. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in our employment support services, working closely with clients to help them achieve their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' support needs and develop personalized action plans to improve their mental health and employment prospects.
  • Provide guidance on career development, job searching skills, CV preparation, and interview techniques.
  • Support clients in finding, sustaining, or returning to work, including advice on mental health disclosure and reasonable adjustments.
  • Collaborate with NHS clinicians and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Facilitate access to additional resources, such as financial benefits, debt management, and social housing providers, as needed.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 minimum or equivalent in employment support, mental health, or a related field.
  • Experience working with clients with common mental health conditions and a strong understanding of their support needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to assess individual client strengths and needs, think creatively, and provide bespoke solutions.
  • Proven ability to work in an outcome-driven environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality services.
