Job Description

This Environmental Consultant role is based in the Scottish Highlands and involves working with a specialist ecological consultancy that provides high-quality services to clients across the UK. As an Environmental Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting site surveys, calculating biodiversity net gain (BNG), and collaborating with local stakeholders to ensure the protection of rare species and their habitats.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ecology and environmental planning, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients. A background in surveying, BNG calculations, and wildlife licensing is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Taking site surveys and calculating BNG
  • Traveling to various locations and staying overnight when needed
  • Working from home to report on findings
