About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accounting Specialist to join our team at Meraki Talent Limited. As a Fund Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for providing fund valuation and accountancy duties to private capital funds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fund valuation and accountancy duties to private capital funds
  • Ensure regulatory and legal aspects are compliant
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and meet set Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations, and assist with cash reconciliations and fund management
  • Prepare for and attend client audit meetings
  • Develop relationships with auditors for discussions on year-end processes
Requirements
  • Experience in Fund Accounting with a working knowledge of different fund structures, ideally within Private Capital
  • Excellent working knowledge of US GAPP / UK GAPP and IFRS
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize a demanding client need
