CMA Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Assistant Accountant to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. This role will provide support to the Financial Controller and Finance Director, working closely with the central accounts function to maintain the Fixed Asset Register and monitor depreciation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the production of annual budgets and Year End returns.
  • Produce balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns.
  • Support transactional accounting duties such as sales and purchase ledgers.

Requirements:

  • AAT qualified or studying toward CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a medium to large business environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent IT Skills including Excel (pivot tables, look ups etc).
