We are looking for a skilled Associate Linux Engineer - Industry Placement to join our team at the Met Office. As an Associate Linux Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of our Linux infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Contributing to the design and implementation of new technologies and solutions.

In addition to your technical skills and experience, we are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about IT and Linux systems.
  • Has excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Is willing to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and situations.
