The role of Compliance Management involves acting as the 'Competent Person' for the organization, ensuring compliance with statutory legal duties, approved codes of practice, and other obligations. This includes managing risk and leading on health and safety performance, utilizing management control systems to drive continual improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To act as the 'Competent Person' for the organization in relation to all compliance areas.
  • To ensure that the association complies with its statutory legal duties, approved codes of practice and other obligations and requirements in relation to the properties it owns with reference to gas, electrical, fire, lift, asbestos, water and damp and mould safety.
  • To utilise management control systems and lead on risk management to ensure Local Space is proactive in its pursuit of continual improvement in health & safety performance.
