About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at ARU Students' Union. As a Visual Design Specialist, you will collaborate with other members of the team on various design projects, working closely with our experienced Graphic Designer.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for creating high-quality designs for traditional and digital marketing, ensuring all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all visual elements.
As a Creative Marketing Artist, you will also manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will communicate effectively with teams throughout the Students' Union to understand their needs, present design ideas, and incorporate feedback into final designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Students' Union commercial team to understand project requirements and develop creative concepts that align with the project's objectives.
- Create high-quality, eye-catching designs for traditional and digital marketing.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with teams throughout the Students' Union to understand their needs, present design ideas, and incorporate feedback into final designs.
Requirements
- Understanding of the hospitality industry's unique design needs and consumer behaviour.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant graphic design software.
- Creative flair and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
