About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team at TD SYNNEX. As a key member of our Datech team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and strengthening trading relationships with vendors and product marketing to obtain competitive advantage for TD SYNNEX through professional inventory planning and procurement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Place orders based on profiles produced by the Datech team, ensuring accurate product, quantity, pricing, and delivery dates.
  • Process purchase orders on vendors, verify order confirmations, and update SAP accordingly.
  • Ensure all purchase orders are within authorized limits and expedite open orders to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Support the IPP Analyst team with vendor price changes, ensuring correct cost prices are reflected in SAP.
  • Work within set policies and procedures, continually reviewing and updating as necessary.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects as defined by Datech Management, providing high-level service, support, and accuracy to the Datech team.
  • Consistently achieve set targets, minimizing customer backlog, and representing TD SYNNEX in an efficient and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Effective communication with internal and external partners.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize daily routine in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Solid working knowledge of current IT technologies and inventory replenishment systems (SAP R3).
  • Commercial and financial acumen to balance inventory value and recovery margin.
  • Good analytical skills to analyze data and take appropriate action.
  • Focused, proactive, and committed attitude to set and achieve action plans.
  • Sound knowledge of basic purchasing and inventory principles and practices.
