Job Overview

At TE Connectivity, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals to design, develop, and implement software solutions for various industries. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing software for systems and products, including firmware development, hardware drivers, and application modules.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop software for systems and products, including firmware development, hardware drivers, and application modules.
  • Design and implement embedded software, including device drivers, clocking modes, power management, and device bring-up.
  • Develop software for wireless protocols, including LoRaWAN, LPWAN, MQTT, ZigBee, and Bluetooth 5.1.
  • Work with Microcontroller-based system development, including Murata, STM32, Renesas, and NORDIC processor families.
  • Develop software for IoT infrastructure, including device bring-up, device drivers, and application modules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain software documentation, including user manuals, technical notes, and release notes.
Requirements:
  • 2:1 or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional experience in embedded software C/C++ programming.
  • Experience in Microcontroller-based system development, including Murata, STM32, Renesas, and NORDIC processor families.
  • Experience in wireless protocols, including LoRaWAN, LPWAN, MQTT, ZigBee, and Bluetooth 5.1.
  • Strong understanding of Embedded Linux, including Yocto and application development on the Linux platform.
  • Proficiency in Unit Testing, knowledge of SDLC, secure coding standards (CERT SEI/MISRA C), and key peripherals (USB, SPI, I2C, UART, Modbus).
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
