Weigh Maintenance Specialist

The Weigh Maintenance team at GFG provides a specialist maintenance, quality assurance, and development service for a wide range of weighs and weighing equipment across the Speciality business.

Key responsibilities include ensuring all weighing equipment is in compliance with relevant company and statutory standards and accreditations for customer quality assurances.

The ideal candidate will have specific engineering knowledge and skills to undertake maintenance and quality assurance procedures for weighing equipment across the Liberty Speciality Steel sites.

Requirements include being apprentice trained, BTEC, and/or NVQ Level 3 (Electrical or Mechatronics) and having experience in maintaining and calibrating weighing equipment.

Key competencies include a methodical approach to work with attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, decision-making skills, and effective verbal communication.

A current UK driving license is essential.

The working pattern is 7am to 3pm, working every other weekend with time off in the week.
