Overview:
Quant Capital is seeking a highly skilled Windows Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a Windows Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating infrastructure systems on Windows-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement infrastructure systems on Windows-based systems
- Maintain the firm's operating systems, authentication systems, databases, virtualization infrastructure, core network services, and messaging
- Implement and integrate infrastructure systems across on-premises and cloud-based environments
- Work with containers on Windows and Linux
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements:
- STEM degree
- Significant Windows systems automation experience
- Powershell programming skills (ideally with some C# exposure)
- In-depth understanding of the Windows platform and related technologies (e.g., Active Directory and Failover Clustering)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with a variety of tracing tools
- Experience with common Windows Server applications and management tools (e.g., Exchange, SQL, SCCM, Hyper-V, and ADFS)
- Working knowledge of network protocols, Linux, and information security concepts
