We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education Specialist to deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students of varying abilities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Religious Education or a related field and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to promote student engagement and achievement
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing effective strategies for improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver an inspiring curriculum that aligns with national standards and the school's objectives
- Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative learning community
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Degree in Religious Education or a related field
- Proven experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level, preferably within a mainstream school
- Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Understanding and knowledge of the UK national curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop a love for Religious Education and achieve their academic goals
- A commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest educational practices
