Job Title: PMO Analyst

Talent is seeking a skilled PMO Analyst to provide comprehensive support to the Programme Management Office (PMO), ensuring the successful delivery of programmes and projects aligned with the department's objectives and public service mission.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management frameworks, including risk management and project planning, and will be able to provide guidance and recommendations to Project Managers as needed.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Assisting Project Managers in ensuring that project plans and documentation meet the PMO's established standards.
  2. Coordinating regular audits of projects to ensure that all required documentation is in place and adheres to PMO guidelines and frameworks.
  3. Managing the collection and consolidation of monthly project status reports from Project Managers.
  4. Developing and maintaining PMO templates to ensure projects and programmes adhere to the approved project management methodology.
  5. Continuously assessing and refining PMO processes to identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and improve delivery outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting projects through a PMO, working within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver outcomes within set deadlines and with limited resources.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent project management qualification.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organisation and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
