Job Title: Substance Misuse NurseJob Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Misuse Nurse to join our specialist Addictions Clinic in Dagenham. As a key member of our team, you will provide front-line clinical care to service users, focusing on a thorough rehabilitation process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to service users, including vaccinations, ECGs, and health promotion
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments, screenings, and interventions to support service users in achieving their recovery goals
  • Participate in health promotion and education activities to raise awareness about substance misuse and its consequences
Requirements
  • RGN or RMN qualified Nurse with relevant experience in addictions
  • Demonstrable experience or interest in addictions, with a strong understanding of the recovery process
  • Current and valid registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK
