About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Registered Nurse. As a key member of our public health team, you will play a vital role in delivering a family-centred service that promotes the physical, psychological, educational, and emotional wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities.

Our team works in a variety of settings, including clinics, nurseries, and family homes, providing a unique and dynamic work environment. This role offers a genuine opportunity to make a positive impact on families and contribute to the development of our new Family Hub model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to individuals and families, working in partnership with other agencies to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of public health initiatives, promoting healthy lifestyles and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with Early Help and Social Care colleagues to improve outcomes for children and young people.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to families, promoting resilience and self-confidence.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of training packages, ensuring that staff have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (paediatric/adult/mental health/learning disabilities) with a current NMC registration.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Good understanding of children's safeguarding and clinical governance, with the ability to work in a changing environment.
  • Commitment to working collaboratively and in partnership with other agencies to improve outcomes for children and young people.
