High Finance (UK) Limited is currently working with a London-based insurer and reinsurer, seeking a highly skilled Syndicate Financial Controller.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is in the range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate close of accounting ledgers and the preparation and submission of regulatory returns for the syndicates. Key responsibilities include:
- The accounting of insurance technical and non-technical transactions;
- Preparing and submitting regulatory returns;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A degree in Accounting or a related field;
- Professional certifications such as ACA or ACCA;
- Proven experience in financial management and control.
