About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Onboarding team as a Transfer Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Team Lead of Onboarding, ensuring timely transitions of client assets into 7IM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Onboarding team to track and report on assets in transfer, ensuring adherence to Service Level agreements and liaising with colleagues and third parties to follow up and update on progress.
  • Communicate with counterparties, fund managers, and custodians to manage the smooth and timely transition of client assets to and from 7IM.
  • Efficiently track and report on assets in transfer using the Asset Tracker system, providing clear and relevant updates to enable clients (internal and external) to monitor progress of the transfer.
  • Manage Transitions mailbox, post, and telephone queries.
  • Process transfers through our electronic reregistration system – Altus and Origo.
  • Monitor reports and systems to check for receipt of funds and assets, process cheques for the custodian to apply to the accounts.
  • Receive transfer cheques into 7IM, cross-check information, update the system, and pass to the cash management team for processing.
  • Process payments to clients and third parties in relation to transfers out of 7IM.
  • Ensure adherence to internal and client operational procedures and controls.
  • Manage Onboarding mailbox, post, and telephone queries.
  • Maintain relationships with third-party administrators, Fund Managers, and custodian.
  • Treat clients (internal and external) and colleagues fairly and adhere to the 7IM mission and tenets.
  • Maintain relationships with other 7IM departments.
  • Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.
  • Ensure AML checks for new and existing clients – including KYC and bank account checks are carried out.
  • Manage the Money In and Money Out bank accounts to ensure funds are allocated in a timely manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of Electronic reregistration, Origo, and Altus.
  • Knowledge of tax wrapper structures, including ISA, SIPP, Offshore Bond.
  • Strong knowledge of asset transfer processes, including unit trust, CREST, foreign, certificated, and cash movements.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
  • Organisation and prioritisation skills to manage your workload effectively.
  • Good communication skills (oral and written) to deal with queries received via telephone, email, and face-to-face.
What We Offer
