We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team at Kate+Co in Birmingham City Centre. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for processing end-to-end payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies quickly and effectively, maintaining up-to-date records of payroll changes, including tax codes, benefits, and deductions. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures, and all relevant legislation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handling payroll queries and resolving discrepancies quickly and effectively.
  • Maintaining up-to-date records of payroll changes, including tax codes, benefits, and deductions.
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll policies and procedures, and all relevant legislation.
  • Assisting with the preparation of payroll reports and data analysis for senior management.
  • Supporting the HR team with payroll-related administration, including P45s, P60s, and timesheets.
  • Contributing to process improvements to ensure efficient payroll operations.

About this role:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
