Senior Audit and Accounts Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, preparing accounts, and conducting audits.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as their first point of contact
- Prepare accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies
- Conduct audits and reviews of financial statements
- Oversee the preparation of consolidated statutory and management accounts
- Conduct cashflow forecasting and corporation tax compliance work
- Prepare reports for review of Directors
- Support junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing
- Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
- Work to client expectations, budgets, and deadlines
- Promote services to existing and prospective clients
- Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team

- ACCA or ACA qualified, finalist or studying, with at least 3 years' previous experience within practice
- Demonstrable experience in financial reporting and supervising junior staff
- Audit experience is an advantage
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated and reliable, with a strong work ethic and time management skills
- Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team
- Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
- Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail
