Career Opportunity: Sanitary Ware Maintenance Engineer

Estimated Salary: £36,635.00 per year

This position entails ensuring that all above-ground sanitary ware and general plumbing in our stores is well-maintained and repaired.

Clean and maintain all surface and foul water drainage systems according to specified standards.

Main Tasks:

  1. Foster a culture of adherence to the company's Health and Safety Policy.
  2. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve high-quality results.
  3. Provide education to staff on company policies and procedures.
  4. Rapidly respond to service requests and undertake repairs where necessary.
  5. Promote solutions for replacement or alternatives when repairs are not feasible.
  6. Conduct site inspections and prepare reports as needed.
  7. Participate in training sessions to keep abreast of technical advancements.

Essential Qualifications:

  • NVQ2 Plumbing & Heating Systems or equivalent certification.
  • A valid full clean UK driving license.
  • A course in water byelaws would be advantageous.
  • Capacity to perform an extensive array of general plumbing and sanitary ware maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Proficiency in the use of steps and ladders.
  • Ability to adapt to working flexible hours, including night shifts.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • A customer-centric approach.
  • Technical proficiency in using a computer.
