Staff Nurse Opportunity at Active Care Group

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Bristol. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the multidisciplinary team to formulate care plans and utilize appropriate assessments.
  • Assess and manage risks identified through patient/resident assessments in conjunction with other health professionals.
  • Regularly review risk factors and work with the team to modify care plans as necessary.
  • Act as the primary nurse for inpatient stays, ensuring evidence-based practice and adherence to relevant guidelines and policies.
  • Undertake clinical supervision to develop competence and clinical practice.
  • Mentor and support students, healthcare assistants, and other junior staff as needed.
  • Liaise effectively with carers, relatives, and other healthcare professionals to provide a seamless and integrated service.
  • Maintain and update relevant knowledge and skills, participating in further training as necessary.
  • Comply with Active Care Group's Health and Safety Policies and Protocols to ensure safe working practices.
  • Protect vulnerable adults and children from internal and external factors, acting as a patient advocate.
Requirements:
  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RN), Mental Health Nurse (RMN), or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD).
  • A legal right to work in the UK.
