Radiography Expert Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiography Expert to join our team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. As an Interventional Radiographer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality radiographic services, supporting a wide range of medical specialties across the Trust.

The successful candidate will be required to perform both Interventional Radiology (IR) and general radiography duties, preparing rooms and equipment, managing complex imaging technology, and ensuring patient safety during intricate procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To undertake IR (Radiology and Cardiology) and general radiography (including peripheral sites), take part in the extended hours and on-call service, to meet service needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent in diagnostic radiography
  • Post-qualification radiographic experience
  • The ability to work unsupervised
  • Working with and supervising student radiographers/assistant practitioners
