Salary: £30,000 to £46,525 + SEN1 (£2,539) + TLR2a (£3,214) (Pending Teachers' Pay Award 2024-25)

Contract: Temp to perm, full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to lead the secondary food curriculum across multiple sites. The successful candidate will oversee and deliver the food curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching and engaging lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the food curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching and engaging lessons.
  • Teach a range of qualifications, including GCSE Food and ASDAN Foodwise.
  • Lead a small team of 3 staff members, with responsibility for sequencing the curriculum, driving student progress, and ensuring outcomes are met.
  • Organise and lead practicals, manage coursework, and stay updated on exam regulation changes.
  • Act as a form tutor with small class sizes of up to 10 pupils.
  • Conduct curriculum Deep Dives and provide leadership in food education.
