Role Overview
The Circle Health Group is seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our Pathology department. As a key member of the team, you will provide essential support to our clinical staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the Pathology department and other clinical departments, including Ward and Theatres.
- Manage the dispatch of laboratory results and specimens, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Ensure safe handling and maintenance of equipment, and correct segregation of waste.
- Support quality improvement activities to deliver excellent services to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
- Able to work with numbers for billing and revenue capture purposes.
- Venepuncture and ECG skills.
- Good organisational skills and proficiency in the use of a PC.
