**About the Role**

Penguin Recruitment is searching for a talented Risk Consulting Graduate Engineer to join their multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy team based in Gatwick.

This exciting opportunity will offer candidates the chance to work on Flood Risk, Environmental, and Drainage Projects for Residential Development Projects with Housing Developers, Local Authorities, and Private Sector Clients.

As a Flood Risk Consultant, you will be responsible for completing technical work including:

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.

-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.

-Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.

-Drainage design using Microdrainage.

The role offers a competitive salary of **£35,000 - £45,000 per annum**, a substantial benefits package, company benefits, and career progression. This is an office-based role due to the training provided by the experienced and friendly team.

To be successful in this role, applicants must have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Geography, Flood Risk, Engineering, or Hydrology and have completed flood risk and drainage projects.

It is essential for applicants to reside locally and have a keen interest in Flood Risk, Drainage, and Civil Engineering.
