Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Non-Resident Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to provide high-quality clinical care and leadership to our patients and staff.

• Provide expert clinical care to patients in gynaecology and ante-natal out-patient clinics, colposcopy clinics, special interest clinics, theatre, and labour ward.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines.
• Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practice and entry on Specialist Register or in receipt of CCT within six months of interview.
• Accredited colposcopist and competent in laparoscopic hysterectomies.
• Sound understanding of risk management and experience in contributing to requirements of CNST and other external regulators.

• Oncology ATSMedical.
• Colposcopy ATSM.
• BSCCP accredited Colposcopist.
• Advanced laparoscopic surgery for excision of benign disease.
• Advanced Benign abdominal surgery ATSM.
• Advanced Laparoscopic surgery skills.
