Programme Essentials

To be eligible for our 12-month Internship, you must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Currently be an undergraduate studying at University and applying for a Placement year in your 2nd or final year
  2. Graduating from your undergraduate degree in Summer 2025
  3. Looking for employment after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship

In addition, you must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship.

What will I be doing?

The Compliance team at NBCUniversal has a global focus and supports all areas of the business. This is a varied role where you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects around the world; developing your due diligence skills, conducting legal research relating to Gift and Business Entertainment, assisting with the management of NBCU's third party intermediaries and improving your understanding of Sanctions Laws as they relate to current geo-political issues.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the management of NBCUniversal's third party intermediaries.
  • Gift & Business Entertainment monitoring, tracking and analysis.
  • Conducting and reviewing background checks on talent, employees, charities, suppliers and business partners.
  • General administrative tasks for the Compliance team.

What will I learn from this opportunity?

This internship will enhance your understanding of how a Compliance function works to partner with the business in the fast-paced world of media and entertainment.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly organised with ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
