The Role

You will join the Digital Solutions Team, where you will play a crucial role in maximizing the utility of data to enhance decision-making and planning, ensuring submarines and submariners go to sea safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Management: Organize, update, and maintain project files, models, and design revisions in a centralized system to ensure all stakeholders have access to the latest versions.
  • Quality Control and Compliance: Verify that models adhere to project standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Training and Support: Assist team members with BIM and CAD tools, offer technical support, and ensure everyone follows best practices for digital design and documentation.
Requirements:
  • HNC/HND in Engineering/Construction/Architecture desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of BIM/Digital Engineering through CPD or equivalent training course in related BIM or Digital fields.
  • Awareness of Building Information Modelling (BIM) & Digital Design/Construction Techniques.
