**Business Relationship Director at Barclays**

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnership Lead to join our team at Barclays.

The successful candidate will be responsible for lending to professional landlords, networking with customers, meeting existing clients, and growing the customer portfolio. Key critical skills for success in this role include risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology expertise.

To be successful as a Strategic Partnership Lead, you should have experience with:

  • Proven Networking Skills

You will manage client relationships to identify their financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance to support analysis of data obtained from various sources. You will also research and understand industry trends, regulatory landscapes, and competitive environments to inform strategic recommendations.

Your key responsibilities will include providing guidance to clients on their financial decisions, offering expert investment advice, risk management, and wealth management strategies support. You will also assess financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships and implement measures to minimize potential losses.

You will monitor client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of relationship management efforts. If managing a team, you will define jobs and responsibilities, plan for departmental future needs and operations, counsel employees on performance, and contribute to employee pay decisions/changes.

In addition, you will advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management, on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment. You will also manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.

You will demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does. Furthermore, you will collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and business strategies.

**Estimated Salary:** £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
