Job Summary:

As a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator / Fitter, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing team. We are looking for an experienced professional who can work with precision and attention to detail in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel and other metals (1.5mm upwards)
  • Fabricate and pipefit in the workshop and at client sites
  • Read and interpret technical drawings
  • Operate equipment such as press brake, guillotine, rolls, and bandsaw
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
  • Collaborate with a team to meet project deadlines
  • Maintain a professional and detail-oriented approach to work
  • Occasional overtime as required by customer demand

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years welding experience (with relevant references)
  • Strong understanding of engineering/fabrication workshop operations
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems is beneficial
  • Experience in sheet metal work and pipefitting
  • Previous experience in food/dairy manufacturing environments (desirable)
  • Coded welder certification (desirable)
  • Familiarity with Permit to Work documentation and writing RAMS (desirable)
