Job Opportunity:

A skilled Quantity Surveyor is required to lead a team in the East Midlands region, working on mixed tenure and contracting schemes. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial skills and be able to maximise value recovery, cost control, and cash management.

The successful candidate will report to the Managing Quantity Surveyor and be responsible for financial cost control and reporting of developments from award to completion. They will also supervise and train Assistant and Trainee Surveyors, setting targets and allocating duties while maintaining quality.

The salary for this role is £62,500, which is in line with industry standards for a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the East Midlands. Benefits include 26 days' holiday, life assurance, pension, private medical insurance, and access to a discount portal.

Key Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry
- Strong commercial skills to maximise value recovery, cost control, and cash management
- Able to prepare and understand financial reports and utilise COINS
