Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Director for our Private Care division. As a key member of our Divisional Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies to ensure the division achieves its goals and objectives. You will lead on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as managing relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual budgets, plans, and cash flow forecasts for the division.
- Monitor and report on performance against financial plans, ensuring transactions and expenditure are properly allocated and the budget remains reflective of operational needs.
- Work closely with our Finance Business Partner to ensure trading accounts reflect performance and make timely notifications of any variances.
- Create a financial dashboard to showcase business performance at any given time, enabling strategic decision-making by the Divisional Leadership team.
- Utilize complex financial analysis to advise on strategic direction and contribute to projects understanding profitability by procedure and wider contributions to the trust.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree-level qualification and full CCAB accreditation as an accountant.
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in a senior finance role, preferably in private healthcare.
- High levels of competence in hospital accounting, analysis, forecasting, internal control, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build meaningful relationships and influence stakeholders.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life assurance, and income protection plan.
